The Germans are still thinking that the final question cannot be called solved, but the appearance of this model in our market is soon more than likely. The Russian representative office of the German car brand refuses to comment on this information, sending the curious to the German chefs. And this caution is quite natural, and we always encounter it when it comes to the possible supply of new cars to Russia. New "athlete" VW Polo will be under the hood gasoline 1.4-liter turbocharged heart, which is able to demonstrate the power of 122 horsepower. This engine will be paired either with a mechanical "five-speed" or with a DSG "robot". The fact that such a "pumped" Volkswagen Polo will soon appear in the serial version, we reported back in June of the outgoing year. 
We have a version GT Volkswagen Polo not produced. On our Kaluga autoproduction facilities produced restyled version of VW Polo, which began to collect here in the early summer of 2015. Under the hood of a restyled sedan, a 1.6-liter petrol engine is installed on ninety and one hundred and ten “horses”. Both manual and automatic gearboxes are included. Motors for this car are also made with us. They fully comply with the Euro-5 environmental class. 
From January to November, Russian motorists bought 70,463 Volkswagen. This data is almost forty percent less than last year’s figures for the same period. Of all the German cars of this brand, Polo is considered to be the most popular among our car owners: 40,747 cars sold out of all sales, which is 57.8 percent of all Folks bought by Russians in January-November 2015. 
In Europe, by the way, Volkswagens also retained their popularity among car enthusiasts, the “diesel gate” had practically no effect on the system of consumer preferences of Europeans. The top of the top ten for a long time and firmly "saddled" VW GolfImmediately below it VW Polo, WV Passat settled on the sixth step of the rating. By the way, VW decided to remove the slogan "Das Auto" from its logo, because it is directly associated with dieselgate. Germans are subtle psychologists! But, probably, they fuss in vain, because despite the "ecological" forgery, Volkswagen engines and, accordingly, the reliability of German automotive equipment did not get any worse.
