If such signs appear, you will need to check the spark plugs with your own hands for operability.

If you do not care about their condition, it is possible to create an emergency at any of the busy urban intersections.

If after the replacement there was no positive effect, then the reason is probably to look for another, and it is worth checking these factors:

• fuel quality;
• incorrectly adjusted candle clearance;
• wrong ignition adjustment;
• insufficient warm-up of the motor due to short journeys;
• excess loads on the engine;
• inconsistency with regulatory indicators in candles.

Conducting primary diagnosis

Before using a special device to check the spark plugs or other control methods, it is necessary to disconnect from the power supply. Notes are made with colored tape or markers on high-voltage wires. After that, they can be removed from the candle.

The surrounding area near the nest can be blown out with compressed air. This procedure will prevent contamination from entering the engine cylinders. For unscrewing candles, a special key is used. Usually it comes bundled even with a new car.

Visual inspection can immediately reveal hot parts. They are covered with a whitish bloom. In the presence of black dry sediments, you can safely declare the oversaturation of the fuel mixture. In this case, the required adjustment of the fuel system is required.

Verification can be performed with a multimeter. However, the result of such a test is able to detect the presence of a break inside. For self-checking, the upper contact is mated with an extended wire. The body contact is connected to the piezoelectric block. It can be independently made from a lighter with piezo ignition and an elongated wire. When you press a button, a spark should appear.

Recovery

It is important not only to identify the problem, but also to fix it at home. To do this, use two options: mechanical and chemical. In the first case, care and attentiveness will be required, while the second option will take more time.

During mechanical cleaning of glow plugs, it is necessary to carry out work in such a way as not to damage the body of the candle with strong scratches. All resulting defects will promote greater heating of the part, which will reduce its performance. Usually work is carried out with a metal object wrapped in cotton rags.

Dry cleaning is carried out using gasoline and a special solution. After flushing all the candles from carbon with a small amount of fuel, it is necessary to dry them. After this, we make an ammonium acetate solution and drop the whole kit into it. When the result becomes noticeable, you can get them all and wipe dry. Only a completely dry and clean candle can be put back into the nest.
