As planned, the Czech developers officially presented their new automotive world. Skoda VisionS crossover at the site of the Geneva Motor Show. Or rather, they presented a conceptual model, but given the fact that the model will go into serial production at the end of the summer of this year, the Czechs are unlikely to have time to significantly change something in the prototype. So, the presented concept can already be regarded as a preliminary copy of the serial model. Czechs themselves in the welcome speech before the presentation of the concept Skoda VisionS promised that they once again sold a million of their cars over the year, are going to win the crossover segment of the market, and the novelty out of it will eventually force out the popular one Yeti's sadness. The new SUV has a six-seater saloon and is based on the MQB platform, known for many popular Volkswagen models. Skoda VisionS occupies a length of 4 m 70 cm, its width is almost two meters (1 m 91 cm), and rises 1 m 68 cm above the ground. With such dimensions, its wheelbase is 2 m 79 cm.
Under the hood "intelligently" all-wheel drive Skoda VisionS spelled out hybrid power plant, consisting of a 1.4-liter 156-horsepower gasoline engine, and two electric engines. All three units collectively pulled as 225 horses. Up to the "reference" hundreds of kilometers per hour, the novelty accelerates in 7.4 seconds. A six-speed DSG box is used as a transmission. The car is very interesting in terms of fuel appetite. Less than two liters of gasoline consumes the power unit for a hundred kilometers of asphalt outside the city. If gasoline runs out, two electric motors will transport the car another fifty kilometers, and if you drive all the time in alternating mode, without refueling and recharging Skoda VisionS will travel exactly one thousand kilometers. Salon crossover - the pinnacle of modern technological equipment, it has several huge displays connected to the Internet. The car, having such a connection with the outside world, is equipped with a system for informing about the traffic situation and other road users.
