It became known that the German company Mercedes -Benz in the near future will present a new model of the AMG GT4 racing version. The super car has been re-equipped with the GT4 class. Amateur racers with little experience take part in this category. At the same time, cars with a small refit are allowed to race.

According to the developers, during the large-scale control race on various auto-racing tracks, the Mercedes-AMG GT4 managed to adequately overcome more than 30,000 kilometers, as well as pass the endurance test, which lasted for 30 hours at the Lausitzring circuit.

It is known that the updated supercar is equipped with a two-turbine four-liter V8 engine, which is capable of developing power up to 510 hp. The rear wheels of the car take all the traction exclusively on themselves. The motor operates in conjunction with a pneumatic shifting transmission.

Due to the absence in the new supercar climate control, noise insulation and other minor equipment, the car became 240 kg lighter than the usual Mercedes-AMG GT R. The total weight of the racing model was only 1390 kg

The maximum possible acceleration rate of the Mercedes-AMG GT4 is over 250 km / h. At the same time, before reaching the first hundred kilometers, the car accelerates from a standstill in just 4 seconds. One of the features for a race car is the excellent "control" of a rear-drive Mercedes-AMG GT4, which allows you to get the most pleasure from driving.

A public presentation of the new Mercedes-AMG GT4 racing is scheduled for the coming weekend and will be held at the 24 Spa Belgian marathon.

Mercedes-AMG is already accepting applications from private racing teams. The cost of ordering a new car is an average of 12,800,000 rubles.
