Such a bill is put forward for consideration in the State Duma. The deputies, the initiators of this demand, want to force drivers of vehicles weighing more than three and a half tons to equip their vehicles when driving in the winter anti-skid system in the form of steel chains, twisted and fixed around the working part of the wheels.

Deputy Dmitry Nosov, the author of these "protivobrobrochnyh" amendments, I am sure that in most cases it is heavy trucks that are shod in off-season rubber when it is caused by traffic jams. "

Nosov is sure that by itself equipping the wheels with chains in the ice does not cause any insurmountable inconvenience to the drivers of heavy trucks. The deputy offers to impose a fine of three thousand rubles on a driver who ignores this requirement of the law.

The text of the bill states the obligation to ensure a “chain” move from October to March, but with the proviso that this period will be tied to a specific region.
