The American concern Jeep is working to create a new crossover called the C-SUV. The model will be presented in November 2016 during the Guangzhou Auto Show.
In China, the car will be produced at the GAC Fiat joint venture, and for other countries at the FCA plant in Mexico. The novelty will be built on the extended platform of the Fiat 500 and equipped with a 2.4-liter petrol aspirated with a capacity of 184 "horses." A 1.4-liter turbo engine of 160 hp is also provided. and a 2-liter MultiJet II engine. The power plants will be paired with a 9-speed "automatic".
Jeep said that the price of a new SUV C-SUV will be about 19 thousand dollars (about 1,195 million rubles). In this price category, the car will become a competitor for another segment representative - the Nissan Qashqai.
Earlier it was reported that in 2018, Jeep will release competitor Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5.
