Minivan SEAT Alhambra Spaniards updated both externally and internally. The update was planned, according to the brand’s development strategy for its entire life cycle, therefore, the picky user cannot find anything radically new in its restyled set, as, indeed, in the exterior design and interior of the cabin. A few design touches for a "facelift" of the face, new firmware for electronic gadgets, a modified engine range - this is all that restyling has touched. Updated seven-seater family car will appear in the European dealerships next autumn. The changes affected the headlights, the logo changed its location, the rims diversified the shape, and the color palette of the minivan expanded due to the introduction of additional colors. Inside, the eye catches improved ergonomics of the steering and control panel, the trim is made in a new way, which adds a sense of increased space. The multimedia system with a diagonal of 6.3 inches can now recognize smartphones on Android and IOS operating systems. In addition to these firmwares, the ability to “understand” driver gestures has been added: now, a smart system can be controlled with a wave of the arm, which, however, must first be taught. 
But all this is not so important for a car, the main thing, nevertheless, is that it lives under the hood of the car and gives a feeling of happiness and free flight when the accelerator pedal is sunk and the wheels begin to rapidly devour the mileage. All engines constituting SEAT Alhambra line, now comply with the environmental standard Euro-6. This, among other things, saves about one-sixth of the fuel.
The gasoline engines used to equip the minivan are 1.4- and 2.0-liter engines, respectively, for 150 and 220 horses. Diesel - 1.6-liter 115-horsepower and 2.0-liter TDI (two versions of it give out power of 150 and 184 hp). All engines except for the 1-6-liter diesel engine are paired with a robotic gearbox (DSG). All-wheel drive version is also available for order. 
To security system updated SEAT Alhambra, added the option of emergency braking, recognition of road signs, which are immediately displayed on the panel, and the level of fatigue of the driver according to his driving style. Of course, there is control of blind zones, parking sensors and other "bells and whistles". An updated minivan is unlikely to get to the Russian car market. Unfortunately, since the beginning of 2015, the Spanish manufacturer has stopped supplying SEAT cars to us due to the economic crisis.
