Brutal pickup based on the Jeep Wrangler, created in the best traditions of the genre, will soon acquire the standard forms of Toyota HiLux and Mitsubishi L200.
Now the car is undergoing some testing, but specialists record carefully all the features of the new SUV. The pickup has already pleased engineers with excellent results, both on an asphalt road and off-road.
Manufacturers do not want to reveal ahead of time all the secrets of new items, so it is carefully disguised. In spite of this, it is clearly seen that the developers paid much attention not only to off-road running traditions of the Jeep, but also to the practical side. Now on tests, a pickup truck with a double cab, a powerful cargo platform, and also high sides is being tested. It is assumed that the line will be other models.
Despite the fact that the details were not disclosed, some information, nevertheless, managed to get. Thus, the code designation of the machine "JT", under which the new Wrangler passes through the internal nomenclature. It is expected that the dealers of the new pickup will arrive in 2018. The new models will be built on the newest platform with gasoline 4-cylinder turbo engines, and, possibly, will get a hybrid power plant. Pickups will be produced at the Chrysler plant in Toledo, Ohio (USA).
