In the North American state of Ohio, at one of the Japanese factories Honda, located under the town of East Liberty, the first crossovers began to go off the assembly line.  Honda CR-Vdesigned specifically for the Russian car market. These are modern, fifth generation models and they will be delivered to us in the very near future. The motor line of the Russian version of the sideboard will be represented by just two gasoline engines. What to say? It's time for the agonizing Russian car market to begin supplying Japanese cars, assembled not even in the Land of the Rising Sun, but in the US state of Ohio. A mad mare, of course, seven miles is not a detour, but was it really impossible to agree on a localized production of the novelty, which would have reduced the price for a decent amount of this “SUV” for the average Russian? If Japanese crossovers were cheaper by a couple of hundred thousand, wouldn't the Russians be tense for such a car? And now it is unlikely that this model is waiting for panic demand, despite the fact that, according to the developers themselves, this is the best option of all the generations produced earlier Honda CR-V. Meanwhile, at the American Automobile Plant, 2,350 workers assemble a Japanese car for the Russians. They are able to collect more than two hundred forty thousand cars per year. This line was launched in the late eighties of the last century. Today, there are collected "sideboards" and Acura RDX. In the near future, the Akurov crossover MDX will also be assembled.

"Parketnik" Honda CR-V officially unveiled at last November's Los Angeles Auto Show. In June, the fifth generation model is promised to be brought to the salons of Russian car dealers. What will be this debut because of the foreign assembly, no one undertakes to predict. A new generation "sideboard" was built on the trolley of the new Honda Civic. Externally, the crossover looks larger than its predecessor, the designers have modified his "face" in more aggressive colors. The machine turned out okay, charged with energy, like a leopard squeezing before jumping to prey. The head and rear optics of the novelty are completely semiconductor.

The model received regional features: since this is the Russian version, the windshield in the parking area of ​​the janitors will be heated, starting with the simplest configuration. The model in all assemblies has electronic handbrake. Under the hood of the new Russian sideboard, two petrol engines will be installed: the first two-liter, the second 2.4-liter. About their power is not reported, but both of them will work in pair only with a variable-speed transmission. The new car received a system of remote engine start, a smart access control system (one can get to the salon only by touching the sensor with the palm, of course, with the driver’s palm, whose prints are recorded in the system’s memory), the assistant controlling the degree of driver fatigue. The camera broadcasts the right blind zone on a projection display in the center console. To open the luggage compartment, it is enough to wave the boot toe under the rear bumper.
