The Beijing Auto Show held the premiere of the compact Acura CDX crossover, which will be assembled in China for the first time. This decision was made due to the fact that the manufacturer wants to conquer the market of the Middle Kingdom. Therefore, it was decided to launch the production of these models at the ZengCheng plant in Guangzhou, next to Guangqi Honda Automobile.

It is reported that in size Acura CDX resembles Honda CR-V crossover, but has more angular shapes and muscular profile. The new car has an aggressive front end with a grille that resembles the Acura Precision Concept concept car shown at the Detroit Auto Show earlier.

The Acura CDX crossover became the first model of the company to be offered on the Chinese market with a 1.5-liter petrol unit with a capacity of 182 “horses” (240 Nm). He will work with a robotic, 8-band transmission with two clutches. Sales of new products will begin in July. The cost of the car is from 38 thousand to 46 thousand US dollars.
