The Czech automaker SKODA presented the all-wheel drive electric crossover Vision E. The event was held at the International Auto Show in Shanghai.

It is reported that Vision E gives an idea of ​​how SKODA sees the future of environmentally friendly electric cars.

Note that this is the first all-electric car for more than 120-year history of the brand.

It is known that SKODA Vision E was created on the MEB modular electrical architecture of the Volkswagen concern. The model is equipped with 2 electrical units (one for each pair of wheels) with a total capacity of 225 kW (306 "horses"). With their help, electric car speeds up to 180 km per hour. Thanks to an efficient and energy-intensive lithium-ion battery, as well as a braking energy recovery system, Vision E can overcome up to 500 kilometers of a track without recharging. Also, the concept is able to move on autopilot of the 3rd level in traffic, on high-speed highways, independently overtake other cars, maintain a number of traffic and can park.

Meanwhile, the best Chinese crossovers and SUVs 2016-2017 were named.
