At the Chevrolet plant, located in the US state of Kentucky, work began on supplying the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 coupe to the company's dealerships.

The car, which has a starting price of 78,995 dollars, will go on sale next week. The start of deliveries to the global automotive market Chevrolet Corvette Z06 in the modification "cabriolet" is scheduled for the beginning of 2015.

Both new products are driven by an eight-liter turbocharged engine with a volume of 6.2 liters, capable of developing power up to 650 hp. and torque value equal to 881 Nm. The latter, depending on the vehicle equipment, is transmitted to the wheels using a seven-speed "mechanics" or an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Acceleration of the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 from 0 to 100 km / h takes only 3 seconds. The maximum speed of the car is 204 km / h.
