The automaker Fiat Chrysler recalls in the world 224,000 of its new crossover Jeep Wrangler 2016 and 2017 release. The reason for this was a defect in the wires that leads from the sensors to the airbags. As a result, there are cases in which the belt tensioners and airbags may simply not work at the right moment.

The company assured that this was not observed during the operation of vehicles, but this situation was noticed during crash tests.

In turn, Fiat Chrysler will fix the defect in the above models for free.
