The Jeep carmaker began a road test of the heavy-duty version of the Grand Cherokee called Trackhawk. The new car will be equipped with an HEMI V8 8-cylinder powerplant of 6.2 liters with a capacity of 707 horsepower. Drive type - automatic. Presumably, the car will accelerate to hundreds of kilometers per hour in just three seconds, and the maximum speed will exceed 300 kilometers.

Jeep Grand Cherokee differs in other bumpers, a modified grille and new optics. Also, the machine will receive a new brake system.

The premiere of the car is scheduled for the New York Auto Show in April. Realizations of the novelties in the USA will begin in the summer of 2017.
