In 2018, fans of powerful SUVs will be pleased with new products by almost all major auto manufacturers. Toyota is no exception, once again improving the appearance and technical characteristics of the Lexus GX 460 line (photo below).

Lexus Ji X 460 2018 release belongs to the second generation GX. The first generation of SUVs, focused exclusively on the North American market, was presented in 2002 at the annual Detroit auto show. Correct features of the body, comfortable roomy interior and the overall feeling of speed and endurance of the new model did not leave indifferent visitors, providing the young brand with excellent sales dynamics.

Toyota never forgot to improve the technical component of its products. Two years after the start of sales, the Lexus GX 460 received a new VVTI class engine, as a result of which the power of the car increased from a modest 238 to 272 horsepower. In the future, in order to balance the speed-power performance of an SUV and reduce fuel consumption, the designers concluded that it was necessary to reduce the engine power to 263 horsepower. The decision was justified: the consumption of gasoline was reduced by 3 liters / 100 km. With such an indicator of power, the first generation Lexus Ji X 460 was produced before the end of production, which came in 2009.

In 2007, the electrical component of the SUV was modernized: a new-generation navigation system was introduced, and connectors were installed to charge Apple smartphones and tablets. The new entertainment system Lexus GX 460 could play DVDs, and the screen for passengers sitting behind was much wider. In the same year, the exterior and interior of the Lexus Ji X were updated: the brown wood used in the decoration was replaced with more expensive red, new chrome parts were added, and the color of the rear turn signals changed from yellow to white.

The price of such cars, of course, will be much higher.
