As promised, the Chinese are not behind the schedule of development of the line of their cars. Photos of the serial modification announced back in April 2015 at the Shanghai Motor Show concept Geely Emgrand EC7 became public. Pictures of this car completely officially published on the web. No camouflage: serial sedan Geely Emgrand EC7 will be exactly like that. Prototype conceptual design newcomer Emgrand EC7 conditionally called Emgrand Concept. She was presented by the Chinese to the public in the spring of this year. If you compare the images of the serial sedan and its conceptual predecessor, then there are no special changes, they are almost identical. Well, thank God! What else is there to change? The design talents of the former chief "fashion designer" of the Swedish automaker Volvo and so wonderfully got into it in the prototype version third generation geely emgrand EC7.
Emgrand Concept
Седан Geely Emgrand EC7 third generation designed and built on a platform borrowed from the Swedish automaker Volvo. It is called SMA (compact modular architecture). There is no officially approved body size data yet, but it is previously known that serial geely emgrand EC7 extends 4 meters 72 cm long and 1 802 mm wide. The height of the sedan does not reach to a half meters just a couple of centimeters. The wheelbase is 2 m 68 cm.
Under the hood the new Geely Emgrand EC7 sedan only two engines will be installed. The first is a 1.5-liter and 1.5-liter gasoline engine, the second is a 1.3-liter and 130-horsepower turbo engine. Even the Chinese were planning to develop a hybrid power plant for this model, but so far nothing is known about it. 
The Chinese will officially present this model in 2016. If the economic situation in our country does not deteriorate, Geely Emgrand EC7 third generation sure to appear in the dealerships of the Russian representation of Geely. About the price of new items is not known even approximately. But if the ruble does not become cheaper even more, the difference with the previous generation probably will not be too significant.
